Better Than I Imagined

This guy can sing and entertain. What a great performance at a very nice venue across the street from the beach. Not overcrowded, no drama, fun crowd. This was general admission so first come, get close to the stage, but there really was no bad spot in the place. Since it was GA, no seats except in the full lounge area in the back. Great setlist - a few songs from Lambs & Lions and some older songs (many of which actually made me like his music). A couple times, so many people were jumping up and down, you could feel the floor moving up and down - proving he gets the crowd excited. He even brought a woman on stage and sang with her - it was her birthday and she was getting married soon. He even gave mic to a young girl (maybe 6 or 7 years old) who sang. I would definitely see him again. I am curious why he doesn't play bigger venues - I am sure he would fill them.

Hometown eventful

This was a really great performer, first time seeing Chase Rice! I enjoyed the music, performance, and the area it was on. I wish the food/drinks were more known at the concert as well more reasonable not $19 for a alcohol beverage and then $16 for a refill that’s only for one which is pretty expensive and many peoples budget isn’t open to pay that. If you haven’t been here for a concert it can be confusing finding the merchandise ch or food, maybe a map in the entrance will help new concert goers know where everything is. Overall good concert!! I can’t wait for the actually Amphitheatre on the water!

General Admission Awful

This was my first General Admission event and will be my last. While I loved the performance of the artist, the set up for concert goers in my opinion was awful. It was so crowded I could have kissed the stranger standing next to me. Some space would be nice. I prefer assigned seating. There was also illegal weed smoked during the concert and a fight between two girls with no security presence around, no one broke it up luckily no one was seriously hurt in the scuffle (innocent standbyers). I would not recommend GA at this venue.

Great performer - facility eh

Weather was a delay here so understandable, but the 3 story promenade next to the bandshell is older and run down with limited public restrooms (which were closed before the show was over). Only a handful of Porti-Potties for the whole venue. Beers were cheap at $6, but only 2-3 places for drinks = very long lines. No beach access which I suppose they didn’t want drunks stumbling out and drowning... Parking garage across the street was convenient and $10 so not bad - but trash not monitored or grounds not cleaned up regularly. I would go again but just with the understanding of the above.
